Give

Would you like to be part of this vision? With your donation you help us spread God’s Word – through teaching, praise and worship, in Germany and in the Balkans. Thank you for sowing with us!

“Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.”
2 Corinthians 9:7–8 (KJV)

Sowing and Reaping

God has placed a principle in His creation that still applies today: “While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest … shall not cease.” For “whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap” – and “he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.” That is why every gift for God’s Kingdom is not money lost, but a seed that God blesses and multiplies.

Genesis 8:22; Galatians 6:7–9; 2 Corinthians 9:6, 10

God Himself is the One who “ministereth seed to the sower” and gives “bread for your food”. He provides for us so that we in turn can sow – and He makes the fruit of our righteousness grow.

2 Corinthians 9:10–11

Giving and Receiving

Jesus Himself promised: “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over.” Giving is an expression of our trust in God’s faithfulness. We do not give to earn something, but because we ourselves have been richly blessed – above all with Jesus Christ.

Luke 6:38; Acts 20:35; 2 Corinthians 8:9

Paul describes the church in Philippi as partners in the Gospel: they stood by him in giving and receiving and thus had a share in his ministry. He writes: “My God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” This is exactly how we see our donors: as partners who sow with us and share in the fruit.

Philippians 1:5; 4:15–19
